Eligibility
- Current private pilot license
- Endorsement for knowledge test
- Pass knowledge test
- Receive flight training
- Meet experience
- Pass practice test
Experience
- 50 hours of cross country pilot in command (10 hours in airplane for airplane routing).
- 40 hours of actual or simulated time.
- 15 hours of instrument flight training from authorized instructor.
- 3 hours of instrument flight training from authorized instructor within 60 days practical test.
- 250 NM IFR cross country flight along airways or ATC directional routing with 3 different approaches at airports.
- Pass practice test.
